My Bachelor\u2019s research explored the pseudoscorpions of the Amazon rainforest, while my Master\u2019s work shifted to marine sciences, focusing on the diet of juvenile fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2023, I began a four-year PhD at Nord University under the supervision of Professor Henning Reiss. My research investigates meroplankton\u2014the larvae of benthic invertebrates\u2014and fish larvae in the sub-Arctic, examining how fish might benefit from utilizing meroplankton as an alternative prey source (MarFild project).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside of academia, I enjoy running, baking, snorkeling, and hiking through Norway\u2019s stunning landscapes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am originally from southern Spain, but my academic journey led me further north to Germany, where I earned my Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees at the University of Hamburg.
