He is specialised in the identification of&nbsp;zooplankton and in the study of the the biology of Lake Tanganyika fishes, including stomach content analysis and identification of monogenean parasites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Simon participates in the following projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Projet Mbisa Congo&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Project on the Critical biodiversity surveys in the Lake Tanganyika and Ruzizi River basins for sustainable management measures (2022 &#8211;
