I am a Congolese researcher (Centre de Recherche en Hydrobiologie \/Uvira-South Kivu) currently pursuing a PhD in Biology at Mohammed V University (Morocco) and Hasselt University (Belgium), specializing in phycology. My research focuses on the algal flora of the Albertine Rift Lakes, particularly investigating the dietary overlap of herbivorous fishes through stomach content analyses and diatom taxonomy. I hold a Master\u2019s in Biology from Mohammed V University and a Bachelor\u2019s in Biology from the Official University of Bukavu. I am a recipient of the BILA GlobalMinds Scholarship for my PhD and I am an alumnus of CEBioS. I have contributed to numerous research projects and attended international workshops on climate change, taxonomy, and scientific leadership. I am also a member of African Women in Science (Cohort 2023), a project founded by ACARE. Fluent in Swahili, French, and English, I am passionate about biodiversity conservation, enjoy traveling, and I am an avid music lover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
