In cooperation<br \/>\nwith world-leading suppliers of emergency preparedness software, modelling &amp; simulation systems and decision making<br \/>\nsupport solutions, Nord University has invested in computer-based simulation capacities integrated with crisis management<br \/>\ndecision-support tools and command and control support systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NORDLAB<\/strong> provides a platform for education, research and development of innovative technologies and procedures to increase the capabilities to manage crisis response, with a special focus on the Arctic environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NORDLAB<\/strong> \u2018s aim is to advance knowledge development within the emergency preparedness system and provide support<br \/>\nto research and development projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NORDLAB<\/strong> is tailor-made for training-serials and table-top exercises to train joint emergency response operations. In my day to day work I try to combine my position as a <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/zycgplo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Senior Lecturer<\/a> with being a conscripted Staff Advisor in the Norwegian Civil Defence, using my experience with <a href=\"https:\/\/site.nord.no\/didaktiskebetraktninger\/2018\/03\/16\/verktoybruk-studenter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game Based Learning<\/a> and my Home Guard training and Civil Defence duties as responsible for <a href=\"https:\/\/forsvaret.no\/hv\/hvs-veilederkurs-verdifull-utdanning-for-det-sivile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tactical Guidance and Evaluation<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/nb-no.facebook.com\/Nord-Tr\u00f8ndelag-sivilforsvarsdistrikt-438120206246905\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nord-Tr\u00f8ndelag Civil Defence District<\/a>.
