We aim to develop English learning as a window of opportunity for creative, socially relevant education \u2013 deep reading for in-depth learning. The main project target group is student teachers on university programmes for teaching in grades 1 \u2013 10.<\/p><p>The project is rooted in cooperation between the Faculty of Education and Arts, Nord University, Norway, and the School of Education, Bishop\u2019s University, Qu\u00e9bec, Canada and implemented with the support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/hkdir.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills<\/a>, HK-Dir&#8217;s NOTED program.
