Having a background in molecular plant biology from my previous University, I understood that I am eager to study more complex systems such as ecological and evolutionary relationships. My interest led me to Landscape Genomics Group during my Bachelor studies at Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am open to working with both dry and wet methods and love not only biology but also mathematics and the combination of the two sciences which I find the most powerful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my university journey, I am ambitious to get a deep understanding of ecology and evolution and pursue my scientific career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my BSc project, I focus on the signatures of selection in populations of the Lake Tanganyika sardine Limnothrissa miodon<\/em> following its introduction from Lake Tanganyika in other African lakes. I also work as a job student for the CHIPOLATA <\/a>project, which investigates biological change in the pelagic fish community of Lake Tanganyika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
