Guidelines for<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>self-tapes<\/b><\/h3>

Make 3 short self-tapes for the application form. \u00a0One where you introduce yourself, and two monologues that you choose yourself. Please choose 2 monologues that are different and contrasting from each other. You can perform in your native language or any language of your choosing.\u00a0<\/p>

Make the films as simple and clear as possible. Remember that we are evaluating your acting skills, not the technical quality of the video.<\/p>

Film your personal introduction (\u2264 1 min): tell us your name, age, where you are from, and why you are applying.
Film 2 contrasting monologue (\u2264 2 minutes each). Before each monologue, give a brief introduction (character, text, and author).
Film each monologue in a single take without cuts or edits.
Ensure the camera is well placed to show your body as well as your face.
Use good lighting, a neutral space, and ensure clear audio quality.
Double-check that your video is clear and audible.<\/p>

Upload the 3 self-tape files onto YouTube or another service, and copy the links onto the application form.<\/p>

What happens after that ? \u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>

Selected candidates go forward to take part in a half-day acting and movement workshop to work with a small group of candidates. The workshop is led by our teaching staff and invited professionals.<\/p>

Candidates can choose to attend the audition at either of the following locations and dates:<\/p>

Oslo: 20-24 April 2026<\/strong>
Levanger: 8-9 May 2026<\/strong><\/p>

Final workshop<\/h3>

FInal round:10-13 May 2026, 4-Day Workshop at the theatre building at Nord University, Levanger.<\/strong><\/p>

If you are selected from the Second Round, you will be invited to Nord University\u2019s campus in Levanger for an intensive four-day workshop. This will give you an experience of the course’s approach to acting, allow you to meet current students, and get a feel of the place.<\/p>

Selection<\/h3>

Notifications of final selections will be sent out by email 30th May 2026. \u00a0<\/strong>You will either get an offer of a place, a place on the waiting list, or no offer.<\/p>

Number of study places: <\/strong>20 per class<\/p>

Our teaching is ensemble-based, so we aim to create a balanced and diverse class in which constructive collaboration with teachers and peers drives the work.<\/p>
