TRAFIKKLAB is a Research & Education laboratory focused on the effects of technological innovations in road safety, transportation, driver training, and driver instructor education. Our research areas include new technologies in driver training, road network infrastructure (ITS), driver assistance systems (ADAS), driver behavior, new mobility solutions, self-driving vehicles and much more.
We aim to lead future-focused research and education, driven by innovation. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art simulative equipments, such as driving simulators as well as VR/AR headsets. We also implement research on the field, by adopting various technologies, such as eye-tracking glasses, motion sensors, 360 cameras and onboard smart dashcams.
