Film & TV Production motivational letter & portfolio submission

Motivational letter:

Please write a short text in english on why you have applied for this program. Why you think this programs suits you and your career path. And what interests and creative skills you have. This is an opportunity to showcase your curiosity.

NOTE: We are an international program with international staff so the motivational letter should be in English

Portfolio segment:

What we would like to see in the portfolio segment

  • Traditional or digital artwork (any physical artwork must be digitized)
  • Ideas for scripts
  • Ideas/pitch for a film project
  • Photography or video (focus on good composition)
  • Experience from film or TV productions
  • Showreel from your productions or creative work

You do NOT have to show skills in all fields and we do not expect professional-level work.

Portfolio links requirements:

Upload the material of the portfolio to either a cloud storage solution (google drive, onedrive etc.) or upload it to a video site (youtube, vimeo). Make sure the link you provide is accessible by us and not behind a password. A good way to test this is to paste the link into a private browser window.

Sending in the links to your portfolio:

All applicants will receive a form by email from “nettskjema” to send in links to your portfolio material. Make sure to have your application number ready. You can find the application number on the email receipt from Nord University

Deadlines for submitting your video link:

  • Applicants outside EU: 16th of December 2024.
  • Applicants inside EU and Norwegian applicants: 10th. of May 2024.
