Prabhat Khanal
Prabhat Khanal is an associate professor of Sustainable Animal Nutrition at Nord University, Norway and is the coordinator of the CEER project. He has an animal nutrition background focusing on nutritional programming, metabolic phenotyping, and molecular nutrition.
He is currently involved in various teaching and research activities related to sustainable animal nutrition and feeding.
Geir Næss
Geir Næss an associate professor of Animal Science at Nord University, Norway and is the head of Animal Science, Production, and Welfare Division at the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture (FBA).
He has substantial teaching and research experiences in the field of Animal farm structures and building and currently involved in research activities towards the establishment of climate-friendly farm structures to reduce GHG emissions from the livestock sector.
Mette Sørensen
Professor Mette Sørensen is the dean of the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture at Nord University. She has extensive teaching and research experiences in the field of animal nutrition, feed manufacturing technologies, and the use of alternative and sustainable novel feed ingredients in fish nutrition. She is currently leading the NON-Fôr project that involves various industry and academic partners internationally.
Jorunn Grande
Jorunn Grande is affiliated to Nord University Business as an associate professor. She is working in the field of social and corporate entrepreneurship.
Kiron Viswanath
Professor Kiron Viswanath is the vice-dean for research at the Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture and the head of Algae and microbial biotechnology division. He is heavily involved in various research activities and his research focus includes Gut microbiome and health of fish, Algae for food and feed applications.

Bed Mani Dahal
Bed Mani Dahal is a Professor of Environmental Science in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University, Nepal . He has received MSc. degree in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, the Netherlands and PhD degree in Environment and Development Studies from Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway.
His researches and research interest are mainly in interdisciplinary research on environment and development; agricultural intensification effects on livelihood, food security, soil and water resources; and water issues (quality, pollution, waste/water treatment, & conservation).
Anish Ghimire
Anish Ghimire is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Kathmandu University.
His research interest is in biological processes for waste(water) treatment and resource recovery especially via application of anaerobic fermentation process, treatment process monitoring, Sustainable WASH and Life Cycle Assessments. [ResearchGate; Publons]
Rita Bhatta
Rita Bhatta is as assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University, Nepal.
She has received M.Sc. degree in Chemistry and M.A. degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and M.Phil. degree in Chemistry from Kathmandu University, Nepal. Her research interest are mainly on Environmental Chemistry, Material Science, soil and water analysis, water quality, water pollution, water /wastewater treatment.

Sundar Tiwari
Associate Professor Sundar Tiwari is the Head of Entomology Department at Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal. He has professional experiences on integrated pest management, habitat pest management, agro-ecosystem services, conservation biological control, pollination and farmers field school.
He has ongoing projects on agro-ecological management of fall armyworms (Spodoptera frugiperda) via understanding of their biology and habitat in maize crop and other potential non-crops. In addition, he is also involved on studies regarding ecosystem service providers in different agro-ecosystems.
Himal Luitel
Associate Professor Himal Luitel is affiliated to the Centre for Biotechnology at Agriculture and Forest University.
His research interests include Molecular Pathomechanism of pulmonary hypertension in experimental animals. In addition, he is involved in the molecular characterization of major poultry pathogens from Nepalese flocks, developing rapid diagnostic tools.
He has scientific skills on various in vivo methods and molecular biological techniques.
Ujjal Tiwari
Ujjal Tiwari is an assistant professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management, Agriculture and Forestry University.
He has research interests on socioeconomic studies, climate change impacts and adaptations, food and nutrition security, disaster risk management, value chain analyses, integrated farming systems, project baseline and impact assessments, and project planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
Sunila Rai
Sunila Rai is a professor at the Department of Aquatic Resource Management, Faculty of Animal Science, Veterinary Science, and Fisheries, Agriculture and Forestry University.
She completed her M.Sc. in Aquaculture and Ph.D. in Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. In addition to teaching, she has also been involved in aquaculture research and extension with a focus on nutrition and gender.
