The SAMLA network arranges a dialogue seminar about the municipal responsibilities to facilitate primary education in Saami languages with few users.
The program features talks from Staaren tjïelte and Snåasen tjïelte, and brief introductions from Mid Sweden Universities and Nord University. Taking a look at inspiring examples from municipalities who have been doing on-site Saami education for a long time, we wish to spur a discussion about how you can facilitate Saami primary education in your own context.
Time and place: Thursday November 26th, at 12:30-14:30 CET.
Target group: Municipal education politicians, chief municipal executives, and heads of municipal education departments, located in South Saepmie (Norway and Sweden).
