(Mis)tillit: Fornorsking av språk, folk og land i Sør-Sápmi. Hvorfor forsoning, hvordan og mellom hvem?
SOTRUST tar utgangspunkt i tillitsbegrepet, og undersøker hvordan tillit eller mangel på tillit henger sammen med konflikt og samarbeid i fortid og nåtid i Sør-Saepmie, og hva som skal til for å bygge den tilliten som er nødvendig for forsoning.
Vår oppgave er å undersøke grunnene til tillit og mistillit i regionen, fylle mulige hull i rapporten til Sannhets- og forsoningskommisjonen, videreutvikle sannhets- og forsoningsteori og praksis, kartlegge mønstre for konflikt og samarbeid i denne regionen, og foreslå mulige løsninger for å forbedre relasjonene innad i de samiske miljøene, og mellom samer og ikke-samer.
(Mis)Trust: The Norwegianization of Language, People and Land in South Sápmi. Why Reconciliation, How, and Between Whom?
SOTRUST takes the concept of trust as its point of departure, examining how trust and mistrust are related to conflict and cooperation, both past and present, in South Saepmie, and what is required to build the trust necessary for reconciliation.
Our task is to investigate the underlying causes of trust and mistrust in the region; identify potential gaps in the report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission; further develop theories and practices of truth and reconciliation; map patterns of conflict and cooperation in the region; and propose possible solutions for improving relationships within Sámi communities, as well as between Sámi and non-Sámi populations.
