23. og 24. mai 2024 var forskargruppa samla til seminar i Umeå. Der la medlemmene i forskargruppa fram utkast til forskingsartiklar for resten av forskargruppa, og for referansegruppa. Dette var eit steg i arbeidet med å publisere ein samla antologi for forskingsprosjektet. Vert for arrangementet var Coppélie Cocq, som er professor ved Umeå universitet.
23 and 24 May 2004 the research group met to discuss their latest results in Umeå. At the seminar we read and discussed drafts of research articles. The reference group for the project was also invited to the seminar. The drafts was an important step in the production of an edited volume of articles from the project. The host for the seminar was Coppélie Cocq, professor at Umeå University.

Charlotta Svonni, PhD in history at Umeå University, is part of our reference group. At the seminar she contributed with generous and insightful criticism, and afterwards she handed us her dissertation from 2023: Education for Sámi : ambitions and school practices in the nomad and Sámi school from 1950s to 2010s. Here she is to the right, with Coppélie Cocq in the middle and Leiv Sem to the left.
