I am originally from southern Spain, but my academic journey led me further north to Germany, where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Hamburg. My Bachelor’s research explored the pseudoscorpions of the Amazon rainforest, while my Master’s work shifted to marine sciences, focusing on the diet of juvenile fish.

In February 2023, I began a four-year PhD at Nord University under the supervision of Professor Henning Reiss. My research investigates meroplankton—the larvae of benthic invertebrates—and fish larvae in the sub-Arctic, examining how fish might benefit from utilizing meroplankton as an alternative prey source (MarFild project).

Outside of academia, I enjoy running, baking, snorkeling, and hiking through Norway’s stunning landscapes.
