Henning Reiss

I have PhD in natural sciences from the University of Oldenburg (Germany) and my research these days was mainly about the benthic communities of the North Sea while working at the Senckenberg Institute in Wilhelmshaven with Professor Ingrid Kröncke.

During my postdoc positions at Senckenberg and the University of Groningen (the Netherlands), I studied fisheries impacts on marine ecosystems and how that affects ecosystem management.

I have been at Nord University since 2011 and with my team I study coastal benthic ecosystems mainly in sub-Arctic fjords.
