Jorunn Grande

Jorunn is an associate professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at Nord University Business School. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from Nord University (2011), and a MSc in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, USA (1991). She has 24 year of experience with research and teaching at Nord University. Her current research is related to entrepreneurship and innovation, small businesses, firm internal resources and capabilities, interfirm collaboration and regional development. Recent projects are within​ social entrepreneurship, farms diversification/rural entrepreneurship, new business models related to hunting and adventures, slow adventures and regional support systems. Grande has published in several international journals and books.

Arild is Professor at the Department for Industrial Economics and Technology at NTNU and Adjunct Professor at Nord University. Arild is doing research in the intersection between entrepreneurship, innovation and international business. The past 10 years most of his work has focused on sustainability and especially on the sustainability – competitiveness relationship.

Lars is an Associate Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Nord University Business School. He has a Master of Science in Political Economy from BI Norwegian Business School.  His research interests include innovation, strategic management and entrepreneurship in the context of digitalization and circular economy. He is also interested in advanced quantitative analysis and applications of AI into the research process. Molden has taught courses in strategy, innovation and methods, as well as corporate finance and political economy for MBA and bachelor students. He is also teaching transaction cost economics for PhDs. He has published in leading academic journals, as well as developed and run several research projects in relation to digitalization and circular economy. Molden is frequently giving public lectures and publishing popular-scientific materials in national and regional outlets. He also sits on several boards and is often used as a consultant. Lars was a Fulbright Flagship Scholar and a NORAM honorary fellow to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to starting his academic career, Lars worked as an analyst in finance and risk management in Storebrand Group and as a Director of financial services in Telenor Group. 

Tina Løvsletten Troset is a PhD student in innovation at Nord University Business School.. Tina has a Master of Science in Business Administration from Norwegian School of Economics (HHN) and the Surrey School of Business. Her research interests are primarily related to digital and circular economy innovation. Tina has taught courses in innovation management and business analytics for MBA and bachelors students. She is very much engaged in business sustainability and economic development. She worked at Danske Bank, Nord-Trøndelag County Administration and as a volunteer for the NGO Uganda Rural Fund prior to joining Nord University.

Birgitte Hovdan is an Associate Professor in business economics at Nord University Business School. She holds an MSc in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School with a concentration in economics. She teaches quantitative methods, micro- and macroeconomics, as well as business analytics for bachelors students. Her research focuses on the role innovation policy plays in firm level innovation processes and how this effect is contingent on characteristics  of the firm and their collaborative networks. Birgitte is very interested in digital solutions for new learning and evaluation plattforms at Nord Business School and in the general economics of digitization. She is also the coordinator of the bachelor program in business administration. Prior to her academic career she worked with the Norwegian General Audits office, the Norwegian Central Bank and EY.

Lill-Beathe Håpnes

Lill-Beathe Håpnes is a PhD student in entrepreneurship at Nord University Business School. She holds an MSc in Business Administration from NTNU Business School, with a concentration in finance and institutional logics. In her PhD-thesis, she examines the role innovation policy in fostering business development and incubation.  She is passionate about research and dissemination, and has during the last years contributed to the development of several network arenas between research and business.

Pål Inge Johansen

Pål Inge Johansen is a master’s student in Entrepreneurship and Business Development at Nord University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, specializing in Innovation Management and Circular Economy. In 2023, he attended a summer school at EM Normandie Business School, where he studied Entrepreneurship and Project Management. As a student assistant at Nord University, he provided guidance in marketing and finance and contributed to various academic projects. Currently, Pål Inge is launching a startup and gaining practical experience as an entrepreneur. He is also enrolled in the Master Plus program at Nord University, where he explores his interest in pursuing a PhD after completing his master’s degree. His academic focus centers on entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development.
