Experience a football party out of the ordinary! From June 3-9, 2024, the CONIFA Women’s World Cup will be held in Bodø. This unique championship, organized by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA), brings together women’s teams from regions, minorities, stateless nations and other groups not represented in FIFA. The tournament celebrates diversity, inclusion and the passion for football.
CONIFA was founded on June 7, 2013 and hosted its first World Cup in June 2014 in Östersund, Sweden.
With high ethical standards and dedicated members, CONIFA is the world’s leading organization for individuals, nations and athletically isolated regions who share the joy of playing international football. CONIFA helps to strengthen global relations and international understanding.
CONIFA aims to build bridges between people, nations, minorities and isolated regions around the world through friendship, culture and the joy of playing football.
This year’s teams are FA Sápmi, Tibet NSA, Tamil Eelam FA and Székely Land. Come and cheer them on in Bodø!
