When: The Conference Assistants will meet you and your child/children at the reception table in the Radisson Hotel at 08:45. We will bring your child/children back at 15:30 at the same location. We will send you further information about the drop off/pick up protocol.

Requirements: You will need to provide:

  • A peanut-free lunch and peanut-free snacks
  • A water bottle
  • Suitable outdoor and indoor clothing
  • Health and travel insurance

Costs: 500 NOK per child per day (about 46 USD)

To register, please follow these steps:

  1. Email Local Host Committee member Morgane Colleau (morgane.h.colleau@nord.no) by no later than Monday 13th May. Please note that we can only offer this programme to a maximum of 20 children each day; we will keep a waiting list.
  2. Indicate the full name(s) and age(s) of the child/children that you would like to register for the Action Summer Club program with Bodø Actionhall.
  3. Clarify the day(s) that you would like to sign them up for (i.e. Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and/or Saturday 8th).

Local Host Committee Member Morgane Colleau will ask you to complete a contact sheet, a health form and other key information. Please note that unless these documents are returned to Morgane prior to the conference, we will not be able to offer you the child(ren)’s programming.

Studentongan Barnehage (aged 4 to 6)

We have partnered with ‘Studentongan Barnehage’ (https://www.facebook.com/studentongan) to offer a maximum of 10 children a nice programme in one of our local kindergarten. Your child/children will get to mingle with the children registered there!

Where: ‘Studentongan Barnehage’ is located near Nord University’s Bodø campus. It is a 15-minute car ride away, which the Local Host Committee will organise. We will travel with your child/children to the kindergarten.

Requirements: You will need to provide:

  • Suitable outdoor waterproof clothing and footwear, hat, gloves and scarf
  • An extra set of comfortable indoor clothing, such as a jumper, trousers, underwear and socks
  • A rucksack that your child/children can carry themselves to use on short trips. The kindergarten also has access to a ‘gamme’, where they spend time with the children in their care.

For babies and very young children

We have reserved “quieter spaces” within both the Radisson Blu Hotel and the Quality Hotel Ramsalt so mothers can breastfeed/pump, parents can retreat, etc. These will be clearly identifiable as “care hubs” during the conference.
