Our  partners in  Denmark, researcher Hongyuan Cheng and associate professors at the Technical University of Denmark, Aberham Hailu Feyissa and Mohammad Amin Mohammadifar are evaluating feed formulations and extrusion variables employing a small lab-scale extrusion process. They are carefully understanding the effect of different parameters such as physicochemical properties of ingredients and diets, extrusion variables etc. on the qualities of extruded pellets. Their aim is to develop models for the extrusion process and then predict the effects of extrusion process conditions and ingredients on fish feed pellet quality.
