NOW is an annual, free and open conference designed to support Nord University’s Strategy 2030 by promoting digital competence, interdisciplinary cooperation, international participation and socially responsible technological development. The 2026 edition expands the scope significantly, uniting all faculties and inviting a wide audience into the conversation about what AI can—and should—be.

Conference Location:

NOW began in February 2024 as a small, faculty-focused conference for creative media studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences. In 2025 it grew into a large international event engaging three faculties at the Levanger campus. In 2026, the conference expands once again, now bringing together all five faculties at Nord University in a truly interdisciplinary and university-wide exploration of artificial intelligence.
