It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 14th Annual Meeting of the Transnational Scholars for the Study of Gender and Sport. This year’s conference will be held at Nord University, in Bodø, Norway, November 16–18. The conference theme is “Emerging issues and alternative futures for gender and sport”.

The program will include presentations from internationally renowned keynote speakers and relevant stakeholders from the sports field, accompanied by paper sessions and a practitioner’s panel discussion.

The keynote sessions will include insights into key issues in the field of gender and sports, with recommendations for future research and avenues for a real-world application delivered by academics and practitioners in the field. The paper sessions will further be themed to reflect the desires of the conference participants to ensure that sessions maximize the opportunity to share, engage with and reflect upon questions in particular interest areas. Keynote speakers, the scientific and social program will be announced in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!
