On 19 June 2026, the TURBO consortium held its final webinar in a hybrid format: in person in Warsaw and online. The webinar was chaired by Veronika Vakulenko (Nord University), who presented the overall rationale of the project and the TURBO model; IFSA complemented this with a regional overview of local labour-market needs.
Partner universities presented the stages of the model according to their role in its implementation: Lviv Polytechnic National University — informing and selecting participants; Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University — programme development, module design and micro-credentials. The retraining and social adaptation stage was addressed by WUNU (psychological component), KNU (engagement with business), Chernihiv Polytechnic National University (social assistance) and VNTU (cooperation with local government and wider stakeholder groups). South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University presented the follow-up and monitoring stage, including alumni support. The concluding session and discussion were led by Kozminski University.
The webinar provided a platform for horizontal exchange of experience among Ukrainian HEIs and outlined directions for further cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime.

The second TURBO webinar, “Social Adaptation of IDPs in Ukrainian Regions: First Results”, took place online on 16 June 2025 and brought together 23 participants.
This session focused on the practical delivery of micro-credential programmes and provided a space for reflection after the first semester of implementation. Ukrainian higher education institutions shared their experiences of working with IDPs in cooperation with local NGOs, highlighting early results, challenges, and lessons learned. The webinar fostered fruitful exchange among partners and contributed to refining educational approaches that support both learning and social adaptation of internally displaced persons in the future work.

On 28 August 2024, the TURBO project held its first online webinar, titled “Education of Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine: Current Needs and Ways for Ukrainian Universities to Address Them”. The event gathered 45 participants from Ukrainian higher education institutions and international partner organisations.
The webinar introduced the micro-credential approach as a flexible learning solution for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Ukrainian partners shared their early experiences in designing micro-credential programmes and presented preliminary course concepts tailored to the needs of displaced learners.
Drawing on insights from Report 1, the discussion helped align programme development with real-world educational challenges and labour-market demands, while encouraging collaboration among project partners.
