The symposium will be held in the main building of Nord University’s campus in Bodø, Norway. The talks will take place in the auditoria Elsa Laula Renberg (alternatively called A12 or 1403) and Regine Normann (alternatively called A11 or 1404), which are right next to each other in the area between entrances D and E.
Coffee breaks will be held in the area outside the entryway to these rooms.

The website or app of MazeMap can be used to search for and get directions to rooms within the university campus. The screenshots below in this section and the next are from MazeMap, where we have added labelling of the university’s entrances and alternative routes in red. Pictures are our own.
The map below shows the route from the main building’s main entrance, H, to the auditoria. Inside the main entrance there is a reception desk where one can ask for information when needed.

On the opposite side of the building from the main entrance, the biggest entrance is entrance B. The possible routes from this entrance to the auditoria are shown below.

Lunch can be eaten in the cafeteria, where it is possible to buy food or bring one’s own food to eat. Possible routes to the cafeteria are shown below.

From the city centre or airport of Bodø, the campus can be reached by bus.
Bus tickets can be bought through the Reis app, which contains a journey planner as well. Alternatively, tickets can be bought by debit card on the bus. A journey planner can also be found on the website https://www.reisnordland.no/.
The campus can be reached by the following bus lines:

Note that the linked directions take you through several buildings before crossing the road and make you enter the university through the student housing section, buildings/sections which are generally not accessible to outsiders. Rather follow the directions given below, but the linked map can be used to get a better overview of the different roads and paths than the screenshot below.

In Bodø, there are many hotels and many people also rent out flats and rooms in their homes. If you intend to use public transport to travel to the venue, it is best to live close to one of the stops of bus line 1 or 2 (see above).
The availability and prices of accommodation in (and flights to and from) Bodø may fluctuate wildly, it might therefore be best to book early. Especially if Bodø/Glimt should happen to play an international football match in Bodø at the same time, both accommodation and flights may be expensive and there may be limited availability.
Radisson Blu Hotel has reserved 40 rooms for us (on a first-come, first-served basis) for 3-5 November, for the guaranteed price of 1 290 NOK per night. This is the same hotel as where the conference dinner will be held.
The reserved rooms at Radisson Blu Hotel can be booked before 4 September 2026 via an online booking link be made available to participants through registration. When making a booking, it must be guaranteed with a credit card, and they are unfortunately not able to invoice the payment to an institution. Any changes to the reservartion must be made online. Last date for individual cancellation with a refund is 7 days prior to arrival.
