ARCTAQUA partners participated in All-Russian Scientific Web Conference “Topical issues of morphogenesis in health and disease”, which took place in Moscow, November 12-13, 2020. They presented a report on “Formation of endodermal derivatives and structure of the yolk syncytial layer in the development of Stenodus leucichthys nelma”. Eye-catching histological slides give an overview of organ development in nelma larvae from the moment of hatching until the age of 42 days (ontogeny the digestive tract, liver, pancreas and thyroid glands) and the fate of the yolk sac with periblast during this period.
