The coordinated presence of Khrystyna Kurta from The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and James Hinchcliffe from the University of Gothenburg was evident at Aquaculture Europe 2022, held from 27th to 30th September in Rimini, Italy. Both shared the results connected to the ARCTAQUA project with the scientific community and industry representatives. Khrystyna’s presentation was about the sperm quality of farmed Arctic char during the spawning season. On the other hand, James described the mineral carry over from plant-and marine-based diets on spotted wolffish and the associated effect on the fish’s growth, health and welfare.
