ArcSolution and ILLUQ Collaborate on Transdisciplinary Research Paper at Svalbard Science Conference

At the Svalbard Science Conference held on October 28-29, 2025, members from ArcSolution and our sister project ILLUQ presented a joint research paper titled “Building Transdisciplinary Bridges and Learning from the Svalbard Context.” This collaborative effort emphasizes the importance of integrating diverse academic disciplines to address complex environmental and societal issues.
 
The conference took place at the Quality Hotel Expo in Fornebu, gathering leading experts to discuss pressing challenges in polar research. The paper highlights the importance of transdisciplinary approaches in developing innovative solutions and enhancing sustainability efforts in Svalbard and beyond.
 
The authors include Julia Olsen, Alexandra Meyer, and several others affiliated with both ILLUQ and ArcSolution. Their work highlights various case studies from the Svalbard region, aiming to draw lessons that can be applied to global challenges.
