The Competence Centre will provide a channel for continuous sharing of preliminary results and recommendations with stakeholders before the project results are finalised. This ongoing consultation will make sure that the research work is locally relevant and beneficial and contributes to improved understanding and new knowledge.
The Competence Centre will be tied to the UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Transport & Logistics, which is chaired by CHNL. The Competence Centre will promote innovative and environmentally responsible logistics solutions based on this project’s findings.
The Competence Centre will provide a forum for dialogue and the sharing of information with stakeholders and offer presentations and short courses to various stakeholders, including national and local government officials, transport and logistics operators, natural resource industries, other businesses, NGOs, indigenous organisations and students.
