The English Department at Nord University is delighted to host the international conference on “Nature in American Literary Naturalism: Environment, Sustainability, and Ethics in the 21st Century” from September 10-11, 2026. Researchers and teachers of American literature from all over the world will gather in Bodø to discuss what “nature” means in the 21st century in light of environmental concerns, climate change, and the drive for more sustainable economies.
