Elisabeth’s research interests are in the fields of security and human security. She holds a Cand. Polit in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen and teaches International Relations for undergraduate students at Nord University.
Elisabeth’s current projects are Youth and Security, FOG, Female entrepreneurs in Nordland (1880-1980).
Her most recent applications include 2019 International Journal of Adolescence and Youth. Vol 25 (Holm, Lillehaug-Pedersen and Pettersen), 2021, Acta Borealia Vol 38 (2) Dankertsen, Pettersen & Otterlei.
Fun fact: Elisabeth loves mornings, her favorite color is black, her favorite animals are cats, and her favorite time of year is early autumn.
