The International Science Festival in Gothenburg is one of Europe’s leading popular science events and the only one of its kind in Sweden. In 2021, the festival was held on 16th April in a digital format. ARCTAQUA-research was presented in a lunch session called “A six-course taste menu with sustainable blue seafood” arranged by SWEMARC (the Swedish Mariculture Research Center) and moderated by Kristina Sundell. The title of the presentation was “How about farmed wolfish on the menu?” At the festival, our Gothenburg team wanted to share how we aim to develop sustainable cultivation models for new species, something that can open up for increased diversity in the farms and in the fish counter, by showing a little bit of the current research on wolffish.
