Pedagogical framework
The ELLiL project team have developed a Reading for in-depth learning (Ridl) framework to support teachers and student teachers when engaging with literary texts in the language classroom. This framework captures the central dimensions in the reading for in-depth learning approach. The RidEL 2024 conference shines a light on the teaching and learning of English specifically, whereas the framework itself applies to languages generally, hence use of the acronym, Ridl.
